Invictus

Ruth thought it appropriate to depict one of only three Archangels named in the Bible with his most well-known attribute, the unsheathed sword. Michael is the hero of the first war against Lucifer, defeating him in single combat and hurling him from heaven. Michael's name, 'who is as God,' is shown in angelic script on the hilt of his sword.
