Metallic dragons have traditionally been the "good" dragons in fantasy worlds. I don't think I was capable of painting the look of metals until recently. "Coppervein" is the first of my Metallic Dragons, this guy is copper of course. Next I'll try silver, (Silverblood) then probably gold. Bronze doesn't look too difficult but brass is gonna be a booger, I want it to look brassy, not gold! Urgh....fun fun!
